From August 1996 to October 2005 (totalling 9 years and 3 months), Jeff Barcy was a Credit Suisse Director. He began his banking career as a Credit Suisse First Boston financial analyst. He also worked in the Los Angeles, California office of Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenrette (DLJ). DLJ was later acquired by Credit Suisse.

While at Credit Suisse, Mr. Barcy performed more than $20B of transactions for real estate companies. This included $5 billion of mergers and acquisitions and $15 billion of capital raises.
